Tulane NROTC

Generic placeholder image

Luke is an extremely talented and creative artist. After a well-known art firm for over two months failed to achieve the desired logo for the Tulane Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC), Luke developed three outstanding logos that represented the essence, character, and identity of the NROTC unit. In the logo above, the 38 tattoo represents the year that the Tulane NROTC unit was formed in 1938. Also, the Tulane motto is integrated into the trident of the Greek god Poseidon, who represents the seas and the Navy. This outstanding logo, along with two other ones he created, are widely used across the NROTC unit such as in recruiting materials, power point presentations, and daily correspondence.

This is the second logo that Luke produced. It has very deep meaning and integral art that was superior to anything that we had found prior. The first individual is a midshipman, represented by the fouled anchor on his cover. The second and third individual are Navy and Marine Officers. Also, the destroyer in the background has the hull number 38, representing 1938 the year that the Tulane Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps unity was formed. Luke took our feedback, performed research, and developed an amazing assembly of logos that blew us away.

Luke is an amazing artist that listened intently to our desires. He performed multiple minor changes quickly producing three distinct and awesome logos. We use them throughout our building, website, and advertisement. Students love the logos and we are appreciative to the intricate details he include in the logo, like the 38 tattoo on the fingers and Tulane’s motto on the trident. Small details that seemingly go unnoticed but have great meaning for our unit.
